The Real Reason I Can’t Pick a Favorite Place I’ve Traveled
People often ask me, “What’s been your favorite place to visit?”
It’s a great question—and an impossible one to answer.
You see, I don’t travel just for the destination. I travel for the feeling. For the moments that stop me in my tracks. For the food that stirs memories. For the landscapes that make me whisper “wow” to no one in particular.
Each place leaves its own impression. Each experience holds its own kind of magic.
Africa left me awestruck. I’ll never forget being close enough to touch an elephant or watching a pride of lionesses stalk a wildebeest. The scale of the reserves is breathtaking. It’s something you have to feel to understand.
Antarctica was serene and almost otherworldly. Kayaking through still bays with only the sound of ice crackling and humpback whales singing around me—pure, peaceful magic. The colors of the ice, the silence... it’s humbling.
Iceland felt like stepping onto another planet. Black sand beaches, steaming thermal pools, and waterfalls around every bend. Add to that the warmth of the people and you have a place you could return to again.
New Zealand is filled with kind souls and dramatic, changing landscapes. Every turn brings a new scene. The energy there is welcoming and calming all at once.
And then there are the tastes:
Italy’s gelato and pizza
Belgium’s rich chocolate
Wine in every country 🍷
Then there are:
Sunsets in The Greek islands.
Surfing in Costa Rica
Epic Views of Manchu Pichu
Hot Air Balloon rides over the Valley of the Kings in Egypt
So no, I can’t pick a favorite. Because to me, travel isn’t about ranking places—it’s about collecting moments.
I travel for the experience of it. And each one is my favorite in its own way.
